Many of our valued agent partners have expressed concern over how light the printing is on the Omni Vx520 terminal. This is now a thing of the past! To increase the darkness of the Vx520 print, follow the simple steps outlined below:
**Starting from the sales prompt (commonly called idle Screen) **

Press F2+F4 at the same time to enter the Terminal Management/Programing Menus
|
|
Enter the default password: 1 Alpha, Alpha, 6,6,8,3,1 and press Enter
– Alpha is the small black button ABOVE the #2 key
|
|
From the Terminal Manager Screen, press the #1 key to select Edit Parameters
|
|
At the Group ID Prompt, press the #1 key followed by the Enter key
|
|
Enter the Group ID password: 1 alpha, alpha, 6,6,8,3,1 and pressEnter
– Alpha is the small black button ABOVE the #2 key
|
|
Once viewing Config Sys, press the green Enter key
|
|
Press the #1 key to select the option for New
|
|
In the Parameters Section, enter: *DARK and press Enter to be taken to the value entry
– Use the Alpha key to change corresponding numbers to letters
|
|
In the Value Section, enter the #6 and press Enter
|
|
The terminal will return you to the prior menu with the following on screen:
– 1 new, 2 find, 3 edit, 4 clear
|
|
Press the red “X” key once to leave this menu and select #3 to restart the terminal.
|
|
